Kita is a North Jersey based artist, born in Bergen County NJ and has lived on the East Coast all his life. He is a new and up in coming artist who has been practicing art for three years. He is a recent graduate of Bergen Community College, where he got an Associate degree in visual arts. He was first introduced to art at a young age but his passion didn't truly flurrish till 2020 where he began drawing regularly and exploring various mediums and styles. Over the course of his lifetime he has had to overcome many hardships, however he believes this is not what defines someone but only adds to the “spiciness” of their art and creativity. Over the course of his three years at Bergen he has been taught many techniques and fundamentals by various Professors and artists. Outside of his education, he has launched an etsy shop, “ShesEveryonesWaifu” for the first two years of his career, Then moved on to launch his own website to host his art platform which he coined DesignsbyKita.
He finds inspiration in artists like @nasume_san, @bluebiscuits, @bluesssatan, @kuronaken, @puririkaaa, @notdamien and Tim Burton. His inspiration is present in his virtual model which he uses to represent himself to his audience and in the aesthetic of his art. His preferred mediums are graphite, ink, alcohol markers, mixed media, and digital forms of art. He incorporates messy line work, texture, and a range of values to bring his compositions to life. He often finds the beauty or twistedness of his subjects and takes inspiration from that, which he then incorporates into his art. He hopes through his work he can convey his love of art and share the beauty or macabre with you.
